Ooey Gooey Butter Cake - German Butter Cake

Cake
1 A egg
60g unsalted butter, melted
155g low protein flour

½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoons vanilla essence 

Filling
110g cream cheese

1 A egg
60g 
powdered sugar
½ teaspoons vanilla essence  
60g unsalted butter, melted  

                                                                                                            

                                                                           
1. Preheat oven to 185 degrees C.
2. Cake: Combine the flour, egg,vanilla essence, and butter and mix well. Pat and press the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 6/7 inch baking pan.
3. Filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat together.
4. Next, add the powdered sugar and mix well. Reduce speed of mixer and slowly pour in butter. Mix well. 
5. Spread over cake batter and bake for 35-40 min. Make sure not to over bake as the center should be a little gooey.
