Glazed Lemon Cake

AP flour 85G
70g sugar
¼ t salt
butter, softened 125G
2 A eggs
1 Tablespoon of Lemon juice
zest from ½ of a lemon
1 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp baking soda

Lemon Glaze:
powdered sugar 60G
2 T lemon juice
15g butter
zest from ½ lemon                                                                                   
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line an 6" pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy removal.
3. In a large bowl or using a stand mixer, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt. Mix in the softened butter.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, lemon juice and zest. Add into the large bowl and mix well.
5. Pour into the 6" pan and bake for 35 minutes.
6. Remove and let cool.
7. To make the glaze: Whisk together the powdered sugar, butter, lemon juice, and zest from the other half of the lemon. Pour over the top of the cooled lemon cake.
