mandarin orange sauce




IngredientMethod
170ml mandarin orange juice
40g light brown sugar
1/2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tbsp AP flour
1/2 tbsp butter

*make 75ml sauce
Mix the juice, sugar and flours and cook until thick, while stirring continously, for about 10-15 minutes, until a thick, syrupy sauce has formed.

When the sauce is a consistency you like, stir in the butter and simmer the sauce for another 2 or 3 minutes. Remove from the heat, strain the sauce and leave to cool.
