225g Butter 80g caster sugar ½ tbsp ovalatte 100g condensed milk 5grade A eggs 1tsp vanilla essence 150g LP flour 50g horlicks powder flavor: ~75g milo powder+ 2 tbsp hot water glaze: 2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp condensed milk | 1. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and ovalatte till light and fluffy. 2. Whisk eggs one at a time and continue beat till fluffy. 3. Add condensed milk and beat again till blended 4. Mix flour and horlicks bit by bit until well combined. 5. Pour half batter into clean bowl and mix well with the milo flavor (pass through sieve). 6. Spread the milo batter (appr.2.5 tbsp) into 7x3' greased loaf pan and bake at preheated oven 180C for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and press cake layer to remove excess air. Brush layer with glaze and spread another portion of batter over the cooked layer, bake for 5 minutes or until golden brown color. 7. Repeat step 6 until all batter is finished according to your own batter arrangement. For last layer, bake using upper and lower heat for a further 8-10mins. 8.. Remove from oven and lets cool completely. |
