55g butter 40g caster sugar 115g Nutella jam 1 A egg 30g cocoa powder 45g AP flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp coffee powder 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup white chocolate chips | 1. In small saucepan over low heat, melt butter completely. Stir in sugar and continue cooking for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Do not allow sugar mixture to boil. 2. Remove from the heat and stir in the Nutella until well combined. 3. Pour butter mixture into a large bowl, beat in cocoa powder, eggs, salt, baking powder, coffee powder, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. 4. Stir in the flour and chocolate chips until just combined. 5. Spread into 6' or 7x3' prepared pan (batter will be very thick and sticky). 6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes @ 180C, until a tester comes out mostly clean. The edges should be set and the center should still look slightly moist, but not uncooked. Cool on a wire rack. |
