125g butter
80g caster sugar
1 B egg yolks
85g LP flour
40g HP flour
60g Corn flour
25g custard powder
1 tbsp milk powder
few drop red food coloring
Cherry Blossom Topping: Red cherries, cut into small pieces
Doggie: some red food coloring (for nose and tongue), some cocoa powder (for ears), some black sesame seeds (for eyes). |
1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Beat in egg yolks and fold in flour mixture to make a soft dough.
3. Divide into two portions, 1st portion mix with red food coloring and the last portion remain as plain.
4. To create cherry blossom: Pipe rosettle with plain and red dough and top with sliced cherry. To create doggie: refer to the image showed.
5. Bake at 180C for 10-15 minutes.
