4 A eggs 180g caster sugar 1/2 tsp ovalette 180g veg oil 125g condensed milk 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 tsp salt 240g LP flour 1 tsp baking powder flavor: 25g dark chocolate coins,melted 1tsp coffee powder +5ml hot water | 1. Whisk the eggs, ovelette and sugar in the mixing bowl in high speed for 5-10 minutes till pale, thick and fluffy. 2. Add in condensed milk, salt and vanilla essence and continue beat in low speed. 3. Gradually add in flour and veg oil , use a rubber spatula to fold the batter evenly from the bottom to the top. Do not overmix. 4. Divide the batter into 3 portion, 1st portion mix well with coffee powder and 2nd portion mix with melted chocolate and the last portion remain as plain batter. 5. Spoon 3-4 tbsp plain batter into a 7 inch cake pan (lined base) in centralise. Spoon another 3-4 tbsp of coffee batter over the plain batter followed by choco batter. Continue alternately until all batter is finish. 6. Gently tap the cake pan on the table top to release air bubbles. 7. Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 50-55 minutes or until cooked. |
