150g butter
200g AP flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1.5 tsp baking powder
160g light brown sugar
3 A eggs

1. Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda.
2. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy, light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing each until fully incorporated.
4. Slowly add the dry ingredients, alternately with milk until well combined.
5. Add vanilla essence and sour cream and beat on low speed until blended.
6. Pour the batter into 4*8" prepared pan, bake @ 180C for first 30min, carefully use a knife to cut a line at the middle of surface, place the cheese custard filling on top and press gently, send back to oven and continue bake for another 25-35 minutes or until cooked. |
